About Us

Olivedale Retirement Village is a Sectional Title Scheme for independent living for those over 50 years of age. A medical assessment must be undertaken prior to occupation,Management of the Village is undertaken in terms of a Home Owners Association established in accordance with the rules of the Sectional Titles Act.In compliance with the Memorandum of Incorporation (MOI), a Board of Directors is elected annually at the AGM. They manage the affairs of the Village, with various sub-committees reporting to them. The Managing Agents are Trafalgar Property Management (Pty) Ltd. The Administration Offices and Reception are located at the Service Centre in the Village.

The current Memorandum of Incorporation allows for 7 Directors.

For a list of Directors and Committee members you need to apply in writing at Reception.

The Board of Directors is empowered to delegate certain of its functions to operating committees, made up of owners and residents, which creates the opportunity for all Village occupants to participate in the development and growth of this environment.

There is strict 24-hour security in place, manned by Fidelity Services, offering a comprehensive range of security protocols.
Thorough vetting of all on-site staff is undertaken and all visitors are screened. Every Unit has a panic button linked to both Security and Frail Care

Pets

Two small dogs are allowed in the cottages and downstairs apartments that have gardens.
Application must be made before bringing a dog into the Village.
No cats  or reptiles are allowed.
